How to Survive in KMM

Most rounds you are Innocent. That is not a spectator role. You are a camera, a bait, and — if the Sheriff whiffs — the backup gun. Survival is information plus distance, not sitting in a locker until the timer forgets you.

Line of sight is the real health bar

If the Murderer cannot see you, they cannot slash you. Corners beat closets because closets are on every Murderer checklist. Walk the rim of Factory, the second-floor bedroom loop on Mansion, the cinema-to-stairs cut on Hotel. Coin vacuuming is allowed; standing still on a coin pile is how highlight reels start.

When you see a corpse, do not loot next to it. Look at the nearest doorway, then leave. The killer is either still in the room or watching the doorway. Call the name if chat is on. False calls get Sheriffs killed; no call gets you killed. The Sheriff guide is what you should imagine on the other side of that call.

Stealing the gun without becoming the next body

A dropped gun is a beacon. Approach from a second doorway, not the one the Sheriff died in. Pick up, immediately aim at the most likely killer path, do not celebrate. You are Sheriff now, with worse information. If the Murderer is already on the pistol, you are late — leave. Hero picks are how Innocent win rates collapse.

Timer wins are still wins

If the clone awards town the round when time hits zero, hiding with a teammate in two different wings is correct. If the clone ignores the timer in last-two, you must make a play. Learn which KMM copy you are on during the first death. The review mentions how unstable those rules become across reuploads. Pair this page with how to play if you still need the win-condition list in one place.

ESP scripts on the ESP hub outline the Murderer through walls. They also flatten your game sense. Use them for learning callouts, then turn them off for a night and see if you still survive Hotel. That is the difference between a wiki reader and a lobby passenger.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the most common KMM questions.

Is camping the best Innocent strategy?

It is the most common and the first place a decent Murderer checks. Keep moving between two hides.

Should Innocents group up?

Pairs are fine. Blobs feed knife slashes and panic Sheriff shots.

How do I know who the Murderer is?

Knife mesh, slash sound, corpse timing, and who refuses to walk toward a body.

Can I punch the Murderer?

No. Get the gun or get out.
